Beko plc describe themselves as “one of the leading home appliance brands in the UK” having sold more than 20 million appliances. Their mission is to “make your life easier” – so they say.
Why is it then, that the Beko complaints procedure is a minefield to navigate? If you want a quick resolution to your beko complaint, follow our practical guidelines.
Before You Complain to BEKO…
Keep in mind that BEKO are a manufacturer of appliances and whilst they have a legal obligation to service your complaints, sometimes it can be easier to go through the retailer with whom you bought from.
If an item fails after purchasing, and is no longer fit for purpose, you have the right as a consumer to several remedies. In the case of a BEKO appliance, you have the right to a repair or a replacement. BEKO is required under the contract of sale (Consumer Rights Act 2015) to complete this for you within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you.
They must also bear any costs in doing so, including postage.
As with all complaints, before you pick up the phone, you should make every effort to record your calls (read our guide on how to record calls if you don’t know how). You should also keep a notepad in front of you and have clearly defined points or goals that you want to achieve by complaining. For example, what do you want BEKO to do about it? Replace goods? Repair goods? Refund you the cost of goods and reject the sale?
To Complain By Phone
If you purchased your goods from a retailer – whether online or traditional, you should always consider going back to them first. Usually, replacements or repairs can be handled very quickly but occasionally, you can have very bad experiences.
If you want more leverage for your complaint to the retailer, you should call BEKO first, and let them know about the issue and get their advice on what to do about it.
As always, make sure you get the name of the person RESPONSIBLE for your complaint – what is the name of the person who fully liable for the information you receive.
When you’re ready, and you have your call recording facilities in place, you can call BEKO complaints on the following number: 0844 220 4015

If you’d rather not make a phone call, you could send the company an email directly from their website but it often pays to handle complaints over the phone or via letter.
